According to KVKK, the data controller refers to natural or legal persons who determine the purposes and means of processing personal data and who are responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system. Pursuant to Articles 4, 5 and 6 of KVKK, your personal data is processed in compliance with the law and principles of honesty, accurately and up-to-date, for specific and legitimate purposes, proportionately and relevantly, and retained for the necessary period.

It may be processed by the Sciences Association for the purposes listed below:

• To provide better service to the members, volunteers, donors, supporters, subscribers, and stakeholders of the Sciences Association
• To carry out the necessary work for the planning and execution of activities conducted by the Sciences Association and to manage the related processes
• Presenting, promoting, and organizing events for relevant individuals
• To ensure the legal and technical security of the Sciences Association and the relevant persons who are in a business relationship with the Sciences Association

Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and legally authorized private institutions, in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated by law and within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

Your personal data is collected through any verbal, written, or electronic medium, via membership forms or any other means, within the scope of the purposes and conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK and for the purposes set forth below.

• Ensuring legal and technical security

Personal data subjects have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK:

• To learn whether personal data is being processed
• To request information if personal data has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose
• To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
• To request the rectification of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
• To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of KVKK
• To request that the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) be notified to the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred
• To object to a result arising from the analysis of data processed solely through automated systems that is unfavorable
• To claim compensation for damages in case of suffering damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data

You may submit your requests within the scope of your rights to the Sciences Association in writing, via registered electronic mail (KEP), with a secure electronic signature, or using your previously notified e-mail address.

Required information for the application: Full name, ID number (Turkish ID or passport), notification address, e-mail address, and subject of the request.
