Gökhan Akbay

Born in 1983, Gökhan Akbay received his bachelor's degree from Bilkent University, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and his master's and PhD degrees from METU, Department of Philosophy. He has taught philosophy and scientific research methods at various levels in the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities at Cyprus International University, and worked on genetic causality as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Austin. He continues to carry out research in philosophy of biology, history of genetics, philosophy of mind, and history of psychology.
