This spring, as part of the Village of Sciences Ankara’s 'Artificial Intelligence, Society, and Science' series, we are examining artificial intelligence through its historical, technical, and social dimensions. We invite you to join our sessions, which span a broad spectrum—from political economy and Large Language Models to energy-environment dynamics, inequalities, and debates in art, literature, and ethics.
The seventh session of the 'Artificial Intelligence, Society, and Science' seminar series, organized by the Village of Sciences Ankara, will be 'AI and Art/Literature I: Artificial Intelligence and Music,' presented by Prof. Altuğ Yalçıntaş.
Will AI-based technologies truly drive economic growth, or will they merely reshape the nature of our labor? While economists such as Daron Acemoğlu remain skeptical regarding the potential productivity gains of AI, the transformation within creative industries has already begun. In this session, we will move beyond theoretical debate to explore the practical applications of AI in music production and consumption. There are no prerequisites; an inquisitive mind is all that is required.
Address: Route Selanik, Meşrutiyet, Selanik Cd. No:70 Çankaya/Ankara
